69 Bronco Build Thread

Picked up bronco from Jim Holly in Mesquite Texas. Also got convertible top so we removed the hard top at Jim's place and left it with him. These picture are from when it was picked up and then when it arrived at my house.

Got it late March 09 and did not do much to it (was working on my 73) for a while. Have done a bunch recently, will post pictures tomorrow.

Here's the thread http://classicbroncos.com/forums/showthread.php?t=144279

If you don't mind me asking, what did you pay for it from Jim Holley? I live in Ft Worth and have been wondering what his prices were like. PM me if you don't want to announce it to everyone, Thanks.

The start of my 75 build

I am a newbie to the forum and to the Bronco owner club. I recently purchased a 75 and have quickly relized it wont be as easy as I first thought. After about about 8 years of dreaming I finally own one though and am excited about my project as it moves along. My plans are to complete a very nice weekend driver, I plan to do a four wheel disc conversion (already have all the parts from Toms) and give it some added HP with an edelbrock top end kit. Here are some of the pics I have up to this point. Any pointers or tips that you guys can give on things you encountered on your builds or things you wish you would have done different during the build process please feel free to comment, as I mentioned I am just starting out any help would be appreciated. Cant get picture link to show up using photobucket, any ideas how to fix, Thanks Todd

I've got a 74 Restoration going, you can find it titled "74 Restoration Project" within the first few pages of the tech forum as I'm always updating or commenting on it.-Carter
