Embarassed 67 Bronco V-8 What a Wiring Mess HELP ME PL

Just got her started, and started to attack the wiring, only the rear tail lights and the instrument lights work and the ignition switch. Under he dash is a Worst Nightmare....burnt wires etc a ball of spaghetti. I dont want to do a 900 dollar wire harness. I have checked all the fuses and they are good.
so
1. how do you get the Dash apart or doesn't it come out. It seems to me that if I can get the dash flat I can start redoing wires and running new ones.
2. Any Suggestions, I spent 2 hours with the meters and the light probe.
almost nothing is live, looks like about 200 wire in a jumble.
3. Bought a on line CD for a wiring diagram.

need some start suggestions
1. is there a wire harness that is not to expensive is there advice.
