ya i did it....worked out slick and i still am glad i did it that way!

Totally missed this! Don't think I'm really missing the weather down there all that much any more! Got used to my 55 and raining!

Getting mine done in the next week or two with tempered glass. I have 3 or 4 shops that are giving me bids

You do NOT want tempered glass on your windshield. The first Rock chip you take and it will shatter! You want laminated safety glass for the windshield.

I just had mine redone in Tacoma for $250. Best price I could find as no one will do it under insurance any longer. He's mobile if anyone in the NW is looking! Amazing work

Tempered glass almost explodes into little cubes.
That is why it is only used for side and rear windows, they rarely get a major impact going down the road.

Laminated glass will crack but hold together.

My mistake, I meant laminated. He offered both for some reason.
