Where did you mount the hi-lift. Not true if no pictures!

Didn't do much. Picked up the "right" tranny filter. Then cleaned the pan, painted the bottom of it the pan, the fill tube, and top of dip stick.

LOL. Passenger side rear inside. Bottom of jack at top of passenger seat running down to bottom of tailgate

Have to get a pic when it dries out today. Good thing I put that trail cover on

Removed the 3 seats and center console. Heading to an upholstery shop at lunch to look at materials. Mocked up and notched the fiberglass inner quarter panels so those can be covered in the same material.

Pulled the roll bar(s) out that were apparently bolted through bondo, fiberglass and rust. Pulled the last of the diamond plate off. Realized I'm going to have to learn how to weld real fast!

Replaced the cluster regulator....what a pain to do in the truck! Too big to fit comfy under the dash!

Installed new rear axles and seals, installed the dr side door molding rubber, used a good 3M product for that, worked great, now onto the passenger side. ;)

DIY a/c

just recv`d my under dash a/c unit from old car what a nice unit ,and for a compressor, an r-4 Harrison fits the mounts where the air pump was , even the tension adjuster works for tightening the belt .the last part I`m looking for is a condenser that fits the front opening ,so far I`m into it for under 450.with all new parts ,and just as summer is coming to a close ,cannot wait to freeze myself out of the cab next year ;)

Cleaned up the timing chain cover surface area in prep for the Explorer TC cover. Next is shortening the cam dowel, final cleanup, then the install of the new cover and water pump.

Stressed out over floor sheet metal repair, and not being able to weld, but still wanting a nice looking rig when I'm done that doesn't look like a monkey practiced on it.

Don't stress... practice, practice, practice on some scrap pieces to get it dialed in and in the grove. Then, take it to your rig. :p
