• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

Searching for a 1979 Ford Bronco. A rust free or primarily rust free ride is preferred. Would like to keep the search as "local" as possible, but would be willing to drive for the right rig. I would check out a 78 but would really prefer a 79. PM me if you have one or know of one that is or might be for sale. Thanks

Best I can remember , the only difference from the 78 to 79 model year was that 1978 could still run leaded fuel and a 1979 was unleaded only and in 78, square headlights were an option, but were standard equipment in 79.

Think you are pretty much spot on with the differences, maybe one or two other small things, interior options. The year preference is more in relation to the actual year than a 79 being "better" than the 78. Any leads would be appreciated. Thanks
