Lot 201 - 1969 Sport

https://www.barrett-jackson.com/Events/Event/Details/1969-FORD-BRONCO-4X4-SPORT-212542

This early Ford Bronco Sport has 56,887 original miles (mileage not indicated on the title). A 2002 Nebraska shed find in 2002, documentation includes manuals and the Window Sticker from the dealership. It is powered by a 170ci 6-cylinder engine mated to a 3-speed-on-the-tree automatic transmission. A three-owner vehicle, it looks like it did the day it came off the showroom floor. It has not had any bodywork except for a rust spot on hood. Repainted in 2005, all the chrome is in great condition. It has no rust on the frame and has never been disassembled. The brakes, fuel lines and exhaust have all been redone. The electronic ignition and cylinder head were rebuilt. This vehicle came from the factory with the bench seat and the half-cab bulkhead and a full hardtop; a most unusual original configuration.

I like the stock red one. The bench seat, bulkhead and full top are really intriguing.

The tan half cab has been bouncing around for a while. Its different. Not my cup of tea.

The half cab and the few uncut EBs are pretty cool. If only I had a few extra dollars.

I love how much they sell for at Barret Jackson. It's almost like the buyers don't see them for sale on CL eBay etc... We should get a group of the AZ Bronco club to go check them out and post a report.

There are a number of us (AZ Classic Bronco members/former members) that often attend and report here.

The tan half cab was there last year? It had fender skirts and a few other 'interesting' features on it. It's been a bit 'de-old man'd' this year and it'll be interesting what it brings.

What's with the screwing on diamond plate or stainless on the tops of inner fenders. Don't these people know how to weld in new steel? Can only imagine the rust under those plates.

sad to see that first red one sitting out it's life in a storage locker.

RMD garage is very cool but a fatal flaw, no air cleaner on those cool looking intake runners. No air cleaner on an offroad vehicle, riiiiiiiight.
