It has been floating around on Craigslist for a while. The body is gone! And no title...in Maryland that makes it just about useless unless you want it for parts.

Yup. Trying to tag and title a car with no title in Maryland is a total PITA!!! And in most cases it is not worth the effort. I have walked away from a few deals that had no title because of Maryland regs.
