• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

  • The Classifieds forum is a place to buy and sell, not an open forum for people to give their opinions on Bronco values. Unless the seller specifically asks for help on pricing, please don't critique quality or asking price. If you're not interested then move on.

    Thanks!

Just tore this motor down to a short block to see what I had. It's out of an 88 bronco. The block looks to be good to go. Just needs to be fully tore down cleaned honed and reassembled.

The heads are the same. Just need new seals and a good bath

Exhaust manifolds just need a scuff and spray.

I didn't brake a single bolt removing anything and surprising there's no crusty flaky rust on the block. Wish my rebuild was like that. Old oil pan is still on with oil just so it's not dry

I think this is a motor that's rebuildable in the average joes home shop. I don't see much reason to involve a machine shop unless you don't own a hone

For some reason I can post the pic with the image icon. I click it and it crashes my browser. So hopefully these links work
