So many great trucks but this was one of my top 3 choices overall and my number one half cab. Great truck!

Thanks !!
Yes that's where it all started. I had owned other Broncos years ago mainly for hunting vehicles. I sold my 76 only because I knew I had this one in the back yard I could build one day when the kids got out of college and yadda yadda. My son and his buddies when little kids playing with paint guns and such would climb all over it and use it as a prop for their battles. So it received even more dents and dings. When I went back in the woods to drag it out I was really shocked how much it had deteriorated. It took awhile to support it enough to drag it on the trailor. I had it on blocks with no chassis under it but I guess the boys had knocked it off. Shame on me for not checking on it over the years. It had been pretty much on the ground for quite awhile. I had the doors grille tailgate and seats etc... under the house so they looked pretty good. But I paid dearly for my stupidity for leaving it like that. 100's of hours of work.

That half cab was awesome - very creative! Your work putting it together made it look like it was factory. Nice to meet you!

Thanks Todd for the amazing job of pulling me out, it could have been nasty. You really were the poster child for what this hobby is all about. It was great meeting you and look foward to wheeling with you again!! (Well under my own power of course) Keep in touch!!

I hate that we had to meet that way, but glad I could help. Although somewhat new to the EB thing, I have been wheeling for years and have learned the value of helping out when I can AND not leaving someone behind. I wish I could say the same for the guy in front of us who 1) kept stopping in front of us so he could get a running star at the water crossings... And 2) who drove off the concrete slabs into the creek... Maybe he will learn someday.

I look forward to running into you again and getting a better look at that truck!

Todd

Thanks very much! I did not want to go to crazy I still wanted to respect its original design. As much as I like the original half cab it was not physically practical for my size so I had to do something. I'm sure some will hate what I did but for me it allowed me to enjoy the half cab in comfort. Always enjoy meeting new gear heads hope to meet up again!!

Do you mind if I steal that rear window idea (with a couple of tweaks, of course)?

Not at all I take that as a compliment!! To be honest if you look like your avatar I'll give you mine LOL

When you do it please share with me the tweeks you have in mind. I have some more ideas myself on the next one.
