• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

I am selling this for a acquaintance of mine, feel free to message me, I'd be glad to call you and answer any questions. Please see the description (also on my CL ad), and I have over 100 photos of the car as well.

This is a wonderful 2 owner car with a little above 64,000 original miles. It was first owned by a "little old lady" and then was purchased by a woman for her 16 year old daughter. The car was repainted / restored and driven all through high school. Nowadays, this car just sits, and thus the family has elected to find a new home for a car that has been the source of many great memories.

I will go through all facets of the car and in the event I need to elaborate on the vehicle, please contact me at your convenience.

The 1974 Chevrolet Nova was purchased in Kansas, with the following options (we have the original window sticker and bill of sale)
- Tinted Glass
- Air Conditioning
- Power disc brakes on front
- 350 4BBL V8 Engine
- Turbo Hydramatic Transmission
- Power Steering
- Neutral Vinyl Interior
- Medium Red Metallic Paint

There are some other options as well, feel free to check out the picture of the actual window sticker.

ALSO - the car has air shocks on it (that air up with a valve by the license plate), but am unable to figure out when that feature was added.

BODY

This car presents very well. There are no dents or major scratches just a few minimal rock chips here and there. The paint shines well, and as stated, it was repainted in 2000, and it has held up quite nicely. A good buffing of this car would definitely make a difference, but as is, it shines great, no clear coat issues or anything like that. When painted, both fenders were replaced and both rear quarters were replaced. On one side the quarter panel repair has has held up very well, and the other side has some rust bubbling showing through at the very bottom of the car. From close inspection, that is the only rust I can find on the car. Drip rails, posts, door jams, etc., all look fantastic. The trunk has some surface rust and some light scaling but nothing to worry about. The car was repainted the original color and was done very well. If it was my choice, I would buff it, put a white stripe kit on it, and be on my way.

ENGINE

The 350 engine purrs like a kitten. Since it has sat so much, I think maybe an idle / carb adjustment is in order, but it starts, runs, and sounds fantastic. As with any vehicle of this age with all original gaskets and seals, she does leave a drip or two of oil after running for a while.

FRAME

The frame was undercoated at factory and has held up well. There is some surface rust, but we have elected to leave it as is. Personally I hate to look under a vehicle and see a bunch of rubberized undercoating. The only real rust I would say is on the exhaust, which appears to be original to the car.

ELECTRICAL

Everything works, lights, gauges, interior dome lights, blinkers, etc. The car is registered and inspected (NOT AS AN ANTIQUE), and has no problems.

BRAKES

The brakes work well, but one was sticking so a mobile mechanic is coming to check on that for us.

TIRES / RIMS

The American Racing rims are in good shape but do have some surface rust forming on them. The tires have decent tread but are cracked and should be changed. Also included are the original steel wheels and the original hubcaps.

INTERIOR

The interior is all original and has held up well but, but definitely showing its age. The headliner is sagging and needs to be replaced. The dash has a few cracks on it, and the drivers side area of the seat has some splitting. Everything in the interior functions well. All windows roll up and down easily and there are no cracks or damage to any of the glass

A/C

The A/C stuff is there, but it is not working at this time and I am unable to tell you why.

All in all, this is a great car with TONS of documentation that would be a great foundation for a build, or just throw on some tires and go. She has been well cared for, and she will be missed, but it is time for this car to go to someone who can drive it often and enjoy it.
