Wow... Your 'junk' spare parts frame is nicer than the one under than my truck...

Great project-good luck with the build.

thanks guys! It's been fun so far.... sometimes a little bit frustrating but I will get it done. I had a setback with the clutch last week but now I have it all worked out so hopefully there will be a lot of progress this week..... I will post up more pics as progress is made.

I have never really been into anything except Broncos. Some of these parts I have had since I was 17 years old. Some are hard to part with after that long but most of the parts I am just happy that some one is gong to get some use out of them.

I spent this evening searching for 6 bolts to use to bolt the clutch up to the flywheel and never did find any..... this is how a lot of my work evenings have been going lately. oh well time to raid the bolt bins at work tomorrow ;D

I did a little more on the bronco today. I got the engine painted and ready to set on the frame.I have learned over the years to pre assemble when dealing with new or aftermarket parts. I am glad I did because I found I had to notch. My power steering bracket so my saginaw pump would fit.

I forgot the specs on the motor.....Here is what I know for sure.

351W bored 0.060 over (362 CI), flat top pistons, D00E closed chamber heads w/ hardened seats, has 11:1 compression, balanced, ARP main studs, rod bolts, head bolts and rocker studs, roller rockers, Edelbrock performer intake. Also has a 302 RV Cam in it, I am not sure what the benefit of that is but it is worthy to note because it changed the firing order.

Saginaw dual return pump with 1400-1500 psi. The bracket was bought for the "JUNKO" build from B.C. Broncos but I am going a total different direction with that build so it went on this one. The water pump and fuel pump were replaced when I got the engine they were run about a year so they should still be good.

Man This is neat I too have s 2nd Bronco seed setting in the pasture . I need to get it into the shop. I'm sure I too have enough parts to put an EXTRA Bronco together.
... The Dogs took Dave Ramsey off our radio time slot. So I no longer get to listen to him .
Now he does have a soft spot for a hand built classic. I've had trouble with keeping 2 extra cars while trying to follow part of his plan. But I could never get the wife on board.
..I've been paid off 3 times in life, but man a heart attack will kill you. And that's hard to recover from .
... But if I can get the sons tore up 4 wheeler out of the shop my 2nd Bronco has a spot to recover .

I just spent $60 on lug nuts that was unexpected….. I think the Bronco will look awesome with the slot rims and Bfg All terrains tires so it will be well worth it.

When I started this project I had 3 tubs. A good one that was a 66 U14 tub, a better one which I worked on all last winter to put on “JUNKO”. I also own the best tub that I have ever seen in Northern Indiana. So when a local Bronco Brother came Knocking on my door wanting to buy the U14 tub I decided I could get by without it and sold it to him. This did a few things for me. I got some much needed Bronco funds to keep this Bronco build moving along and I also get to use The “Junko” body on here which is complete and solid and will speed things along because it is mostly ready to put on. Lastly I will be putting the Best of all my tubs on “Junko” which I am going to keep for myself.

If you want to see the tub pics just click on my sig link

Yep I had the same problem with my bracket. Although I ended up milling a bigger notch out of mine. Your build is looking great! Keep it up!

We have got some more work done on this build been working hard on it and It is coming along. Since the last update we have got the engine and transmission mated up and set on the frame. The drive shafts are in. the steering linkage is hooked up. The fuel tank and fuel lines are installed. Ran most of the Brake lines. Got the exhaust put on for the most part… it still needs some tweaking. We also worked on the body mounts/body lift. Here are some pics.
