Here's the front bumper installed without paint. I'll get to the rear later tonight

Looks great. While I like original bumpers, I think that is the right look on yours.

Thanks Casey, the look of these bumpers is growing on me and I'm sure it'll look a lot better once they have paint on them.

Today I got the rear bumper out of storage and got it installed to make sure everything cleared before painting. Luckily I had some help from my brother in law, that sucker weighs a ton!
I hope to get some paint on the front and rear in the next few days.

Phenomenal! Love it.

Thank You!

You built a beautiful bronco. Now go get it dirty.

Thanks! I can't wait to put the rig to work. As of now all i'm waiting on is insurance and then registration, i won't have a day off to get the registration squared away for a week though so until then i'll be getting little odds and ends wrapped up.

Tonight i painted the front bumper, i'll reinstall it in the morning before work (around 5am) and then get started on painting the rear in the next few days.

My garage whiteboard to-do list is slowly dwindling down

Awesome thread with quite the journey! Looks awesome! Wish mine looked half that good.

Love the color on the bumper... :D

Thanks guys, I've been sick so no progress the last few days but hopefully i'll get some more stuff done soon. Need to cut and buff the passenger door and then i can start assembling and hang them.

Well I decided to get started on the doors today, got the driver side hung without glass in it (figured I’d do that last so they’re lighter).
First time the bronco has had doors on it in at least 20+ years.
I started on the passenger side but snapped off one of one of the door hinge bolts. I plan to get to work on drilling and tapping that tomorrow.

I’ve got a little more to update

A couple weeks ago I picked up this center console at an estate sale, I love it, it fits well, can keep a six pack of your favorite beverage cool, and the price was right

Today I got busy cleaning and installing the vent windows, I’m not sure where they had been stored before I got them but they had some pretty serious mud built up as well as a couple different colors of overspray. They aren’t show quality but they cleaned up pretty well with some water, chemtool, and elbow grease

These door panels came with the bronco when I bought it. I really like the wood grain on black but these obviously have some issues with the wood part bubbling. I kept debating getting new ones but for now I just couldn’t justify the cost.

I put everything together without the window glass or regulator installed because for now I just plan to run it without them (who needs windows when you don’t have a top ;) ) once I get a soft top I’ll put the glass in the doors
