I found what I feel is the holy grail in broncos (maybe just to me). This is a single owner 1969 sport uncut with just 100,000 miles. Has been used in Oregon as a hunting rig most of it's life. There has been nothing done to this bronco. Everything is as it rolled off the showroom. Need a total restoration but there is only one spot of rust on the drivers floor board. This even drives just fine with it's 3 on the tree and manual brakes with no power steering. That is a treat to drive as I have another 1974 fully modified.
My question is: what do I do with this. (NO YOU CAN"T HAVE IT) I would like to restore it but to what degree and what can you modify without causing the value to degrade. Can I replace the drums for discs, can I put power steering in. I will have the engine rebuilt, but it has a 2 barrel carb. Can I Put a manifold and 4 barrel carb on it. I know I own it and can do what I want, I just want to keep it integrity. It's only original once...
TIA
