ID tag

The frame is stamped with the VIN but the only tag is on the glovebox door. In later years Ford put a sticker on the drivers side striker post as well. I think that started somewhere around 71?

66-67 should be on driver's kick panel by the parking brake

OK I have most of it figured out:

UL5 means it is a mdel U152 with a GVW of 4700
GL indicates a 302 8 cyl built at the Michigan truck plant
I don't know what the E95063 indicates
I don't know about the W.B. with 092 under it
Color code is H which I believe is Cordova
Body is 3 - not sure of this
don't know about the 98
C indicates 3 sp maual
I don't know the 08 or the 63.

Any other ideas?

I don't know about the W.B. with 092 under it --Wheel Base inches
Color code is H which I believe is Cordova --couldn't find color H where I was looking
Body is 3 - not sure of this --under Body the 1st # is "trim" and 2nd # is "Body"
don't know about the 98
C indicates 3 sp maual
I don't know the 08 or the 63. --axle code 08 is 3.50 3300lb /63 DSO = Memphis (district sales office)

Any other ideas?

and I don't know how to reference the trim/body code (3 98)

398...... 3 is for a parchment front bench seat with no rear seat, 98 is for wagon top.

H is Cordova Copper

Great looking rig. Looks to be in really good shape. the door gaps look really good to.

Thanks. That was several years ago. Needs some body repair and repainted. Doors seal well but it is still pretty drafty. Gotta figure out how to seal it up better.
