Does anyone have one of these old igloo center consoles?

I think they were called the Igloo Kool Rest.

I would be interested no matter what the color, looking for kind of a cool retro console for mine.

What are the approximate dimensions of the base area of this cooler?

There is two different size models. I had the larger of the two back in the day.

yeah wish i'd known before I bought my little one, I think I'd have liked the bigger one better

Mine is the smaller, with kids often climbing through the middle the smaller one makes it easier. I also take it in and out on occasion.

I have the larger one ,it fits perfect. I have had it a long time, I might have bought it new many years ago

I have the one that is 16 long by 9 wide. Perfect fit for the EB. The color is an almost exact match for my Ginger Metallic. I think they came in a couple of different colors.

That's like the one I had. Bought it in '82 and lasted til 5 yrs ago.

Foam filling swelled out on blew the seams out.

hard to say if one is cooler than the other

I’ve got one of each size. The smaller one fits in my 77 better. The seat lever hits the large one. It fits but it’s a little awkward to work the lever....
