Need some help regarding the correct paint color- my 74 has a "u" code. I'm a bit confused in that i believe it should be a #2414 color code and called "Limestone Green Poly."
I saw on a couple of other charts on this site that also call it "Medium Lime Metallic" and "Limestone Green Metallic"
Is it all the same? Thanks for the help in advance, painting it next week and want to get it right!

Limestone Green Metallic and Limestone Green Poly 2412 is what I'm seeing on the charts.

Looks like the 1974 “U” code was named Limestone Green Poly AND Medium Lime. Same color codes...different names? Not sure...still learning as well. Perhaps a “paint guy” will help solve this mystery.

Mustang- Love that Bronco!

I printed few bronco's that I'want mine to look like, yours is one of them and a beauty. Just wish the PO didn't cut my fenders. Shining up the aluminum trim this week and should have it out of paint by Friday

Cool color, looks great!
Funny part?
This one has two names too.
Green Orchid and Lime Squeeze
I think I like the sound of the latter.

Agreed. The color is sharp!

I like the sound of the latter also. Must be because the only time we mention "lime" it involves tequila shots.

Thanks, I spent hours trying to figure out what color i wanted, told him the limestone poly green and the painter just took a chance and did what he wanted. His rationing was, if i didn't like it, he'd just re-paint it, again. I like crazy, imaginative people, sometimes

Wow, glad that it turned out to be a color that you liked!

But I hate knowing now that Ford still pulls that crap after all these years. What in the heck is their reasoning for same colors, different names? Or changing the code on the same color for a different model year?
Who in the hell do they think they're protecting vital information from?
