Ryan, I would love, Love, LOVE people stopping by! Almost anyone, almost anytime, phone to be sure that I'm still not dead yet! C (616) 550-8462, H (616) 335-6837. It's worth a trip just to see beautiful west Michigan! Howard

Sure is. Used to go check out the Tulip Festival in Holland in the spring. Beautiful flowers. Ken

ARRGGHH!!! Finally got my laptop back after it crashed or died or took a dump or sumpin….. and thought I'd post some pics and progress reports and now the dad-gum computer won't communicate with the gosh-darn phone that has the blankety-blank pictures, PLUS I don't remember hardly any of the passwords or nick-names or emails or what-evers anymore.... Gotta say though, really don't miss Facebook much.....

I'm alive! I'm alive! Finally got the dad-gum photos on the phone thing unlocked and the 'puter fixed and I can post! Yea! At least from my pov!
Speaking of points of view, windshield-wise, I've become unhinged! Stability-wise, I've always been unhinged!

Maybe I'm unhinged, but I'm hopin' to slow down a bit, that is, once all the pieces and parts are together. Worked on the brake and gas pedals a bit today.

Not a bunch of progress on the wiper mod other than having a new mounting bracket fabricated. Had to make some room in the barn for some office furniture, so I moved the chassis outside to re-arrange the space a bit. First time out doors in quite a spell........

always looks better outside, good motivator too!

I did check with Englewood Cowboy and Ben Ferrari, both have dropped the wipers and gave credit to Nicks Trix. Asked for info and they both declined, and I understand that. They are very talented and creative builders and I don't blame them a bit for holding their cards close.

Not making huge progress but I'll take little bits here and there. Worked on the new dash today. I'm going with Classic Instruments and relocated controls and glove box.

Funny. When I first saw you all talking about the wipers on the bottom I thought “nick told me he’s done that a while back”. He even told me how he did it but it was a little above my head and I didn’t ask too many details. I do remember a little about it but I wouldn’t tell it.

True confessions here, I am a LOOOONG way from knowing much about anything, and also everything, but I do know this - To remove the old and rusty windshield hinge, I drilled out the spot welds, pretty much a minor pia. I also know I bought a stainless hinge form JBG which I don't need and can't use, due to the Australian wipers. My plan was to attach the SS hinge with button head SS screws and tap the windshield and cowl. Worked just fine, just not with the re-located wipers.

Wow, I can't hardly believe it's been only 'bout a month since I've posted here! Had a trip to Seattle for a wedding and my Dad passed away, buried him yesterday. RIP Dad, you've pretty much always been my hero.

On with the work - moving forward with the dash mods today. Transferring switch dimples from the old to the new blank dash.

Thanks a lot Ken. It was an amazing experience, and, like the song says, you never know what you got till it's gone. Adjusting to a new normal now. Believe me, I've missed you guys a great big bunch since I didn't take my laptop west and my phone is way smarter than I am.

So sorry to hear about your Dad. Bet he’ll be right there, watching your progress and patiently waiting to go along for the first ride. Keep your memories close...
