I had tons of help! I wish I was as talented as some of you!

I spent Hundreds of hours on this site building the plan and selecting options. The information here is a treasure trove.

Here goes-

Disassembly and reassembly by Anything Scout. I cannot say enough about Sean and his group of talented guys in Ames, Iowa! They welcomed me into their IH shop with a beat up old Bronco and shared their experiences and talents. They put up with me showing up often and had a fresh approach to solving some of the challenges and questions we ran into. There were plenty of times I was concerned about being a PITA but they never made me feel like one!

Bodywork and paint by Bronco Connection. Sam and the group did a nice job with this part. They were also very helpful and open to share how they approach other aspects of a build even though they werent doing it. We had a good visit in March when we showed up in Norfolk with the roller to have the body placed back on the frame.

Jason at TBP is top notch! He took all my calls, shared his knowledge, experience and opinions on parts and combinations.

Engine by Phoenix Engine. Sometimes difficult to get Randy to call me back, when he did, he took the time to answer any questions I had. I didnt have a ton of knowledge when I first contacted them but feel like I learned quite a bit. Randy has an EB himself and was knowledgable about the specifics for oil pan, cam choice, hood clearance etc. They are an old school shop for sure. My visit there last year to see my engine run was a good one. I bought their top notch offering for a Bronco and sent them my block. Engine is running well and looking forward to the Fitech TBI getting some miles. I am aware of the concerns from some folks here but so far so good for me.

Reman 4R70W and NP205 from Midwest Transmission Center. Adam was knowledgable about specific years and what I needed to put this into my Bronco. The guys from Scout built an awesome set of crossmembers to place these units between the frame rails.

I also have to give a shout out to Melissa at BH, Mike at Mike's Metalworks, and Nick at Northeast classic Ford Parts for their help and supply of specific parts.

This has been a great experience overall and I look forward to enjoying the Bronco now that its done!!

Its a great looking Bronco. Can't knock the Scout guys they deal with all the same problems we have and their parts are much harder to source.
