I wish they would show what it looks like installed.

Diameter isn't the end all of sway bars. The geometery of the installation and the bar itself will affect the roll stiffness.

The '76-'77 sway bar was 1"

This one looks like it attaches similar to the OEM sway bar. The drop link brackets look like they attach to the radius arm which would put the ends quite close to the ground. Perhaps they mount to the frame?

I put the Hellwig on mine. After driving it, I'm glad I didn't go the Addco route. A little more money, but in the long run that is what I wanted.

Don't get the Addco, the mounting is junk and you will lose a bunch of ground clearance. I hated mine and after breaking the mounts several times while offroad I finally took it off.
