Thermostat housing and Serp setup

Guy folks
For those of you using the serpentine setup off of an Explorer, did you have to change out your thermostat housing?

And if you did, did you use the housing off of the Explorer?

I searched for this subject but I couldn't get a clear answer to my question, so I thought I would ask y'all.

That is why Ford switched from the 45 degree housing to the 90 degree housing.
The one from the Explorer is what you need.
