Is the breaker faulty? Would a new headlight switch correct this problem? I only ask because I'm assuming it didn't do this when it was new.

Matt

Could be the switch is getting old/worn out or it could be your wiring is older has more resistance then when it was new and more resistance=more amp draw. I didn't read through your thread so if you have a new wiring harness that probably isn't it. Are those stock headlights or the aftermarket upgrades? The upgrades draw more amps and the relay kit is almost mandatory to stop the flickering.

Wiring harness is stock. Headlights are stock, or standard headlights from NAPA, nothing fancy. Is there a relay kit you can buy?

Another question for the guru's.

Where can I find fabric like the fabric currently on these 75 seats? Solid green and the tweed? Not sure if it's still available, but I've acquired a rear seat but I want it to match. I do auto upholstery work so I just need the fabric and then I can make the covers.

Thanks in advance, Matt

Another update.

Finally got around to ordering up some upholstery to match the front seats and sewing up a custom rear cover. I say custom since I haven't seen covers in this color and the stock rear bench is now modified. This body when made was made 2" wider in the wheel wells on each side, so approx. 4" narrower than stock. I took apart the stock rear bench seat I bought, cut it up and took 2" off each side of it. Where I cut and welded it you pretty much couldn't tell what I did.

So the covers I sewed up are 4" narrower. I used the stock white covers to make patterns and in the center section I just cut 4" out of my patterns. I think overall it turned out pretty good and gives it that stock look.

Question for the alignment guru's.

I've attached a couple pics of an alignment I just had done. #1 is before, # 2 is after adjustment on the toe in. It was close, but the wheels were slightly toed out. After the adjustment nothing has really changed. Rig still has a slight wander or bump steer. Not totally terrible, I'm driving it at 60 to 65 mph, but it could and should be better.

I've been reading about castor. It looks like I'm at 3 degree's. Not sure what that number means or where I should be at? I know Jeff's has 3 sets of C bushings: 2, 4 and 7 degree. I don't know what is in mine. Approx. 3" lift that the previous owner order up in a kit. I would assume that they would have send the correct bushings but who knows.

I slightly tightened the power steering box adjustment screw on top. Brand new steering stabilizer and all the tie rods seems rock solid. I've heard the incorrect castor angle can cause my described problems.

Current pic of how it sits, wheels and tires.

Ideas?

Thanks, Matt
