Last night Boss Hugg and Yeller came over and installed a set of rear springs from Wild Horses on my Bronco. Took us about three hours in the dark and we had to make a few minor adjustments (lots of fun sparks flying). I still had my original springs but I'm now sitting about 2.5 inches taller than I was yesterday! Couldn't ask for better friends. :D

Wow, right you are! Great friends and doing it in the dark to boot. Great times!

So I'm guessing here, but "original springs" and "sparks a-flyin'" usually means a rusted-in shackle bolt acting all permanent like?;D

At least I hope so. Wouldn't do at all to sell you new springs and then make you cut into them!;)

Thanks

Paul

That bolt was butted up against a hitch that had been installed. I'm pretty sure it could have come out the easy way but Yeller just likes to cut off random metal parts just to see the sparks fly. ......Or maybe that was me requesting them to do that hahahah :p

Love the WH springs! I took the kids out after school looking for speed bumps around the neighborhood just to try it out. Smooth as butter

I need to start a build thread now that I am actually getting it going. But over the last 2 months , with the help of a mechanic friend we have done the following on my 1966 U13 :

New Ignition Coil
New Carb
Found an original oil bath air cleaner
New Spark Plugs and wires
New Gas tank and fuel lines
Battery
Bought front seats out of 67-68 bronco
Bought a Roll Bar and white bikini top , still waiting to put it in
New Tail light assembly on both sides
New wiring harness in the steering column so the blinkers work
new head lights....

Still a little ways to go before i will be able to get it on the road but its sooo close. I updated my garage photo to what it looks like right now.

Ordered about $230 worth of cable, ends, shrink tubing, and a crimper so I can make some Batt/Starter cables... Maybe on Thanksgiving weekend?

In Sweden its not so many OEM hubcaps around, I would say zero.
Finally got a decent set shipped with container freight.

After a long wait its such a satisfaction mount them on the car.

Got the bumper and headlights installed. Turn signals are just the lens right now, I need some new ones. First time the front has been assembled in 6 years.

Put some stabilizer in the tank and took it for probably it’s last run of the year.
Supposed to snow Friday, and with that comes the road salt.........
