i took these off of a 76' that had inserts on it in the past. has anyone seen these type mirrors before.

Grote. Ran them for several years when I first got my '72. Nice when doorless.

My buddy has a set that came on the bronco when his dad bought it 15 years ago. Repainted the bronco and kept the mirrors. I like the fender mount idea!
Yours have a square back and my buddy’s have a round back but very similar. Not sure the make or if the dealer installed. Look JC Whitneyish?

Looks exactly like the Grote ones I have on my doorless roadster that I bought from K-bar-S years ago.
They still make the black version but not the stainless.
They call them mini truck mirrors

That's what came on mine but the PO painted them black.

Bought the black ones and modified the mounting to attach to my RCM Bronc tube doors when I had mine.

Made mine from an old piston rod and cheapo autozone replacement.

Jdgephar - that shows some creative ingenuity- NICE!


I found that the Grote mirrors look and work better if the mirror head is turned to a horizontal configuration instead of tall and skinny.

The use to mount the grote mirrors on the lower part of the window frame. Gotta be careful because of the wires in there.

What connecting rod has a 2 inch bore?
