I purchased Bronco 5-6 years ago had a lean. Was told the suspension was "newer" and had new c bushings. 4 years ago removed c bushings and confirmed they were new and applied fix. Was proud that i got it with in a 1/4 inch. I've noticed it has dropped over the years, Passenger side lean. I bought new c bushings took it apart last night and compared the springs to each other.....They are same length (18inches unsprung) but the girth of the spring metal is different, confirmed with calipers. 6.575 vs 6.225.
Would this make a difference... should I replace the springs now?

I would try installing the drivers sides spring on the passenger side and vice versa and see if the lean switches sides. If it does Id start shopping for springs

Did you make sure the radius arms are even when clamped down on the Dana before reattaching the dana to the frame? Search Bronco lean and you will find info on this and the primary cause for lean.

New Front springs are cheap. By new ones personally I would hate t put that all back together to get the priblem on the other side. The springs should be the same diameter

X3, search Bronco lean on Wild Horses web site under tech. If the "C" bushings are installed and when the front end is disconnected from the frame, make sure the radius arm ends are both touching the level floor

Thanks for all advice. I followed the guide for installing the c bushings, arms are straight. Installed same springs but swapped sides. Will see what happens. It’s back in the ground and is dead on level, checked with tape.

Interesting on the size differences. That .625 is close to our stock height coil, and the larger one is similar to our 3.5" lift coil.
In days gone by, it was very common for softer passenger car coils to have left and right specific coils, with a heavier duty version for the driver's side to compensate for being loaded heavier on that side more often.
Never seen it with a heavy truck coil though.

Definitely let us know how it works after a few weeks of driving it around.
