I am still working on my seat mounts for my cage. I came across a seat out of a mini van ( can't remember what kind). The seat is pretty cool but it has some crazy mounting brackets and an offset frame. I cut the frame off and made my own. Now I have to figure out where and how to mount it to the cage and get it recovered. Here's a few pics of what I have so far.

So after messing with that seat for a while I abandoned it. It was just a hair too wide to fit between the fender wells. I had a rear seat out of a Colt Vista that I used instead. It worked out pretty good. I also got my front seats mounted to the cage. I got them out of a 2006 Camero, I had to use different rails and modify them but they turned out pretty good. I put the last few pieces in my cage so it is done until I take it out and finish the welds and paint it. Here are a few pics. Thanks for looking!

Looks good man. I like the addition of the extra vertical supports on the back hoop of the cage, and think that between all the tube gussests and roof triangles you put in - it couldnt get much better. the front part of the cage came out real sweet too, should have alot of room getting in and out and forms nicely into the dash. If you dont have paint on the cage yet and still looking for some strength of function, i put a bunch of ruffstuff triangle gussets on my cage, and have so far really liked them for tie down point. Pretty good price as well, but hard to have shipped when not necessary. I used them as primary strength addition.

the other seat frame looked interesting, but complicated. cobalt seat looks pretty spacious when folded up, good choice.

keep building, youre making a lot of progress. Have you taken it for a spin yet? whats your next set of tasks or goals? What are you going to use for paint on all that bare metal?

Slowroaner,
Sorry I hadn't checked this post in a while (obviously). I am in limbo right now. My Bronco is a friends shop, he has more room and is a body man too. I am still replacing some rust, I have to replace the passenger door post and the top of the cowl under the hood needs a patch. The tailgate lower needs redone also. After that I am going to remove the cage and body and sandblast and hopefully line the inside with something ( not sure what yet) and then prime the body. Then on to the frame prep and paint, I have to fab up some rear shock mounts and do some cosmetic changes to the frame from the last PO.
I am working on twin sticks right now for the t case while I wait on the rest. I hope to get back on the body this month sometime. I was blowing and going and now it sucks having to wait. OH WELL.
Thanks for the reply and I hope yours is coming along as well.
Have a good one!

Finally got to mess around the shop today, so I worked on my twin sticks. I have the sticks cut and threaded and made some knobs out of some aluminum I had in the shop. I have the pivots made but not welded together yet. Here's a couple of pic's.

Finally got some work done on my rig. Its been a while since I have had some time to work on it. I got some shock jocks mounted to the frame. I got ahold of a frame to make a rotisserie , I got that done today. I took some pics but they didn't save on my camera , I will try to get some more tomorrow. I hope to have the body patched up and on the rotisserie by next weekend. Hopefully work doesn't get in my way again!

I got some work done on the Bronco today. I have some pics for the stuff my camera didn't like the other day too.
I got my windshield braces welded in to the cage today as well as getting drivers side window frame replaced. I also got a few pieces welded into the front support that were rusted out. I also got one side of the upper cowl fabbed and welded in. I ran into beer 30 so I quit a little early for the 4th!
If your reading this I hope you have a good 4th! Here's a few pics , nothing fancy just capturing my progress for later reference.

I finally got all my patches and panels welded up. I got my WH springs installed so I could check my shock mock up in the rear. I took off the top, doors and tailgate to get ready to remove the body. I need to make some braces for the door openings and then remove the cage. I changed the dash on the passenger side , I had the vent and glove box flipped and then decided to go through the dash with my cage so I took out the vent.
Heres a couple of pics

Work definitely slowed my progress down but I finally got some work done today. I removed the cage, welded up some trim holes in the body, braced up the door openings and got my rotisserie bronco frame mounted to the carrier. Hopefully tomorrow I can get the body on the rotisserie and start working on my frame. Here's a few pics.

Thanks Hank,
Its very slow but, its heading the right way. I can at least see faint light at the end of the tunnel. I hope to have it running by hunting season.
Have a good one!

I got my body on the rotisserie today. I forgot my damn camera though. I will try to get a pic tomorrow. I will say its hard to look at the body being upside down, its just not right! Hopefully its the only time I see it at that angle!

I finally got my body ready to sand blast. I had a few odds and ends to weld up so I pushed it into the corner and worked on my frame today. I want to spend one day blasting everything and be done!
I got my rear shock mounts cut off and my shock jocks fully welded. I got my 4x4x2 box mounted to the frame, I knocked out the supports and welded in some .250 wall 1 inch tubing. I plug welded the two holes I didn't use and redrilled the new ones. I used the rear hole on the bottom , so I had to notch the body mount a little. Here are a few pics, they aren't the best, I was using my phone.

I installed my trac bar drop bracket and ground down some of the P.O's sweet welds from extra B.S. brackets! I had a couple of pics from the 4x4x2 install I forgot to post yesterday as well. I think my frame is ready to sand blast now. Hopefully in a couple of weeks I can get to that. Here's a few pic's, nothing exciting but progress none the less.

I went to my buddy's shop and I finally got the tub sandblasted today. It got dark so I don't have any pics. I hope to get the tailgate, doors and front fenders blasted tomorrow. Its taking forever, the compressor doesn't like the afternoon weather. It shuts off every 20 minutes and I have to let it cool down. I plan on getting there early tomorrow and get it done before the heat sets in. I will post up some pics tomorrow.

I got the doors, tailgate, frame and radius arms blasted today. Finally done blasting, that stuff sucks! Its the first time my Bronco has been one color since I started. The frame has paint in a few spots because I have to put the axles one to move it around. I am running out of space. I am going to install them and move it to finish painting the frame.
Here's some pic's.
