received mine yesterday. Love it and going to look great.

Any creative installations on the grille without drilling holes? Has anyone made custom brackets or a plate to fit behind the badge that kept it secure?

And per the previous comments, the pictures don't do the badge justice. Really nice work.

The two mounting studs are spaced to fit in the grille openings. You can use a small plate with matching holes or a couple of fender washers. Use loctite.

My 71 is a Colorado truck also, bought it there in 94. Even though I'm in PA now, I'd be interested in getting one as a reminder of my favorite place.
