Oh its getting closer to time to crank the motor!!! Almost all of the wiring is done and all of the plumbing is in.

I am trying to make everything as clean and neat as I can, I thought that the heater core hose should be fastened down the inner fender.

I managed to get one door panel on and also took a picture of the heater box in-place.

Sweet man.. :)

More and more...

I replaced the defrost cable and the cable that opens and closes the heater core valve. That took an entire day to do!! The nuts holding those on are impossible to get to unless the light bar is removed, the radio is removed, and the ducts taken out. Thankfully that is over. ;D%)

I re-did the rear brakes, new shoes, pistons, and all hardware.

I got the drivers side door panel cut and installed.

I also went and picked up my chrome trim that I had stripped and polished. I am going to coat it before I put it back on the Bronco.

I am hoping to be cranking the motor this weekend!!!!

Its alive!!!

After 3 years and 1 month, the engine is running!! Oh what a happy day.

Make a note to not forget to put the body ground on, that one stumped me for a couple hours.%)

Now its time to get the finish details going. I have started on he inside carpet and also have installed the headliner

The seats are back from the upholster and they look great, If anyone is thinking about not replacing the foam, it is a must to get the seats to look great and new.

carpet

I am starting the carpet. What is the best way to hold the fender pieces down? I don't want to use any spray glue.

Also snapped a picture of the factory rubber mat with the original paint pen writing still on it.

Carpet and roll cage

The roll cage is bolted in and the carpet is done. The carpet kit was pre-molded from Bronco Graveyard. The tailgate section was spot on with the fit. The rear section was also great fitting, the wheel wells have a few wrinkles and I am sure a hot summer will get those to lay down.

The front section of carpet required a lot of trimming and also the jute padding had to be trimmed so that the side hold downs would work. There was a few wrinkles in this section too, but should be hidden under the seats.

I clear coated the hold down strips and also rounded the ends on a few pieces to give them a cleaner install look.

I put the rear seatbelts in (7/16-20 bolts) and used nylon nuts to allow the anchor points to swivel.

I'm shooting for next weekend to have the top on, glass in, the seats in, and to go for a test drive!!!

Thanks, I will check that out and see how well it matches mine. I have been putting it off and want to replace it this year. I'll have to head over to JBG and look at some samples.

Looks like a Bronco!!

Well its starting to look like a Bronco again!! The Super Celebration show is getting closer and so is my goal to be done.

The top is on and the side glass with the chrome is in.

I got the fenders mounted and the side emblems on. The little things take so much time!

hood and grill

The hood is on, and I installed the Bronco Graveyard hood shocks. I am pleased with how those work and the way it closes.

I am starting to put the grill back together. The factory chrome trim is now on and the replacement clips worked great.

My goal is to have everything wrapped up this weekend, have exhaust put on next week, and then the black stripes added the following week!

To help with the drive to Super Celebration, and driving to many other shows in the future, I changed out the inner and outer front wheel bearings this weekend. While doing this I discovered that the driver side snap ring wasn't on the drive shaft just sitting on the end, smh. Another fresh new part and fix for the Bronco.

I am shooting to take my first test drive on Tuesday, 4/3 !!! 3 years in the making...
