well my truck is off to the blasters.. .going to repaint it in Glen Green...

leaving the glove box door the original color ;)

glovebox.jpg

I did the same to my 74 Ranger, I left the inside of the glovebox door original because it still had the "paint ok" stamp on it with the inspectors name. Here are a few more of my Glen Green 76, sometimes I wish I would have left it the OE color, but I chose to go with Boxwood. I think you will like it when you get it back, I dont see too many that color but the ones I have seen really look good.

......It was real big back then too....maybe 33's....Buckshots.... if I remember correctly......Oh, Q was the size
If they were 33's they were P's, the Q's were bout 35" ~ 36". I have a set of P78x15" for my 76 that I use in the winter, damn I sure wish they still made those tires they are the best I have found for this area.... tall, skinny and dig like crazy. OK back to the Glen Green, I was daydreaming

yeah they are P78's if I remember correctly. I have the receipt from the PO from 2004 or 05 and they have 0 MILES! I have a group of people that want to buy them (they are supposedly discontinued) I will be selling soon going to the highest bidder...

Proper Glen Green Bronco

Even after 8 years none of you have posted a proper Glen Green Bronco. The color is very rare and I own a California one with white interior. Stand by for pics. https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B8RAs9r4u4LVckhZZ3otSWIzX00

Please stop posting pictures of yellow broncos and calling it Glen Green.

Here's a proper video of "Glen" for the community to see.

Glen Green was a two year option only offered in 1975 and 1976 making it the most rare early bronco color.

Hey,
These are not glamour shots, but this is a Glen Green just as it was pulled from a 14 year hibernation in a West Georgia barn. It is typical early 80's build: '69 351, 3 speed, 3.50 gears, and 36.5 Grand Prix 4 wheel off road tires! It also has 2 broke axles in the front!?:?(Wonder why?)
It also has a white interior.....er originally was white....a little dirty now! (No Pics yet). This one is known as "Coup" because chickens were roosting on the top!;D

This.... is another Glen Green Bronco. Nice..

Thanks for posting up thats a great example of Glen Green, can you shoot a few photos of the inner door posts or door jams? would like to see the color that hasn't been touched by UV / Sun. I had a very tough time trying to match the paint chip from ford with a clear coat on top. i agree the final color on my 76 turned out more on the yellow side than green, but like it anyway.

Glen Green is definitely somewhat yellow in it's natural state...

This is Coup, a '76 Glen Green Sport that I posted earlier in this thread, but this is a more updated picture.

I'M LATE TO THE GAME BUT as I RECALL THE NAME was Gleenwood Green & BoxWood green. The BoxWood was darker . Like the one above my post.
& Seems like the lighter color was ..... Something Yellow. Maybe Glenwood yellow, Seems like we questioned why a Yellow was called green . I sold Dupont paint from 1967 until 1995. But in 1967 I didn't realise I needed to remember these colors over the rest of the industry.

Paint match for the original Glen Green is nigh impossible. Like I mentioned before my Bronco has been sitting unmolested in a garage since 1995. In the light with a cam it definitely plays tricks on you and can appear yellowish but should be a light greenish hue and should never appear true or light yellow. At least that's how mine looks. I've never actually seen another Glen Green bronco IRL. There is a thread on here about color codes and Glen Green is an actual color code for years 1975 and 1976 Broncos... Here's the only pick of door on the inside I have on my drive. The dash is powdered white by the way and not body colored. My weird factory stripe options with the all the green may make mine appear darker too.
