• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

Why does "Classic Ford Bronco" lie so badly?

Too funny not to share, current auction. "Classic Ford Broncos is the nation’s premier builder of Vintage & Early Ford Broncos. We don’t claim to be the undisputed kings of custom-built Vintage 4x4 – although we’re pretty damn good at it. Our Bronco Restorations are all 100% built in-house, with our staff of restoration specialists, proudly hand-built here in Columbus, Ohio based production facility.

Check out the build details below on this 1976 Classic Ford Bronco.

Fresh off restoration, this 1976 Ford Bronco Ranger is ready to go. The previous owner had this truck fully restored from the ground up. Finished in Chrome Yellow with a fresh fuel injected 302, C4 automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes. She drives just as nice as it looks.

If there are ANY questions about the condition, specifications, or availability of this Classic Ford Bronco, don’t hesitate to give us a call or drop us an email here at our Ohio-based production facility. We rebuild our Ford Broncos the RIGHT way: frame-off, by hand, one at a time, and 100% in house. It’s our experience that makes us different. We’ve simply built more 1966-1977 Ford Broncos than anyone else. Period.

Our core values are around transparency, honesty, and quality… We want to make sure you’re getting you dream ride, not taken for one. In short, we want you to love the process of buying or building your Classic Ford Bronco as much as we do.

Although we got our start building Broncos, our passion is the preservation and restoration of all vintage and classic vehicles. Interested in a project that isn’t specifically listed as available in one of our listings? Give us a call, we can source, build, or design anything you’ve been searching for."

Yet it was completely built by another company ??? http://www.usedcarsfsbo.com/asp/Item.asp?soldid=336147&make=Ford&theday=11/16/2017

Why lie and claim 100% in house? Taking credit for someone else's talent, low lives. They have done this with several recently. http://www.usedcarsfsbo.com/asp/Item.asp?soldid=336147&make=Ford&theday=11%2F16%2F2017

Not sticking up for them, but this is their marketing language and likely “copy and paste” rather than a lie. However, it is lazy and sloppy.

This link clearly gives credit to previous owner https://classicfordbroncos.com/preowned-build/wyoming/

Why?
Because lying to the ignorant remains profitable with little risk.

Ranger interior and stripes but a white dash and white grill....

“Fully restored” has nothing to do with factory specs.
There would be a laundry list to make it “stock” again...

^Bingo!

I still get amazed at how people crowd around these "builders" and act like they hung the moon, not knowing they are screwing people over regularly.

If anyone intentionally takes from others....that is stealing. This is clearly intentional.
If a business is using a photo and verbiage from another company to advertise their work ......that's misleading and a lie.

Marketing is being kind.

The second ad is the original from the actual builder, Heather Berry of Woodys, Wagons & Classic Cruisers in Sheridan Wyoming.

It appears ClassicFordBroncos purchased it from her (I remember seeing it on SpaceBook and lusting) for a little under $50k. Maybe they did some more work to it, but I'd imagine it's a high level flip trying to cash in on their name recognition/press.

Probably for the same reason many EB owners "lie" when they offer their long past being revived, buckets of rust/junk as "a great restoration project..." They do it because they think even EB rust/junk has good value...To the question, sadly the bottom line is; the number 1 rule of the EB market is- there are no rules...

Nothing surprises me anymore. Several other builders like Maxlider brothers are buying and reselling already restored trucks with a few bolt on upgrades too. I see it as being a Bronco Pimp for the sole purpose of profit. Personally I don't like it, but we live in a free country. I am just glad I acquired mine when I did otherwise I'd be on the outside looking in at todays prices.
