I also added a 175A mega fuse inline between the alternator and solenoid.

'Ol Blue Build Fire In The Hole!!!

Now I'm pretty much to the point where 'Ol Blue is ready for some front end sheet metal so I started digging around through the stuff the PO gave me and found a pair of PERFECT NOS Bronco script emblems still in the box!!! Score!!!

Then I went to put them on the fenders and found that one fender has an extra hole for the Sport emblems and one doesn't. So now I need to decide if I want to pony up the cash for a set of sport emblems or just live with the extra hole in one fender.

Well today was a good bronco day. I tied up a few loose ends i had with the engine between some hoses & vacuum lines. All thats left to do with the brakes is filling the system with fluid and bleeding. And i got the front fenders put on!!!

For the first time since i've owned it its starting to look like a bronco!!! :D

I'm still waiting on some new FORD emblems for the grille but as soon as those come in i'll see if i can get the grille and hood put on.

Its coming together nicely! Funny, I have the same problem, I have a fender with the hole for a "sport" portion of the emblems. I will also have to fix this as I can't live with a hole there.

'Ol Blue Build. Coming together.

Thanks blue. Luckily my extra hole is on the passenger fender so I won't have to look at it as much. I'm going to try to ignore it for now.

'Ol Blue Build. Coming together.

I actually worked on 'Ol Blue today (for the first time in like a month).

Today I:
*Got my coolant leak fixed and filled the radiator.
*Installed the front seat belts.
*Installed one of these accufab brackets between my TB and upper intake to mount the lokar throttle cable a little more securely. (thanks Airbur)

*Modified & installed a throttle return spring to make it work for my application

* Fixed a brake fluid leak I've been fighting and bled the brakes (although I think I have some more bleeding to do since everything is new)

Oh and started the engine just to hear it run!!! It started instantly as soon as I turned the key too!!!

Hoping to get more done tomorrow.

'Ol Blue Build. Coming together.

Had a moment of stupidity just now.
I finally got my taillights wired up and put in the bronc. Everything worked (blinkers, running lights, reverse lights) except the brake/ hazard lights. The entire wiring harness is new (centech), brake light switch is new, bulbs are new. So I was really scratching my head wondering why everything else would work but not the brake lights!!!
So I came inside to clear my head and it hit me FUSE!!! Duhhhh!!!
Replace the fuse and everything works as it should.

Now I'm wondering though why a brand new fuse was already burnt out. I guess I'll wait and see if it happens again and then investigate.

Well i did some more brake bleeding this afternoon and couldn't wait any longer to take 'Ol Blue for it's maiden voyage.
It was a short trip down the street and back but it moved under its own power!!!;D

Excuse the crappy video quality. It was shot with my cell phone.

No passenger seat, no shocks, no seat belts, no doors, no exhaust, no problem!;)
