nother mod some use is a standard O2 guage (the wide band type) in the pipes, pre collector. An A/F guage is connected & the burn read (stochimetrics is a wonderful science 4 owner/operator). Glad ur gettin there. Good Luck~

Glad the cooling is better. What a relief so far at least. Wait for a really hot day, but it sounds like it's better no matter what.

...I did take some temps on the individual exhaust pipes, and all were jumping around a bit, but in the 440-470 range, accept for second pipe back on drivers side, which i think was around 320? Does this sound like a misfire every few revs?

Could be. Or it could be that the mixture distribution is bad to that cylinder.
Easy stuff first though. Maybe pull the plug, and one next to it too maybe, to check it for fouling or gap differences.
Then swap the wires temporarily too, in case there's a weak wire.

Check the inside of the distributor cap to see if that terminal is more carbon traced than the others, and clean them up while you're at it if needed.

Then, when it's running, check for vacuum leaks around the intake. If there is a leak on that #6 runner only, then that could be messing with the temps as well.

If no obvious leaking, not sure what, if anything you can do regarding mixture distribution within the intake. A plenum spacer could change things. It would effect all cylinders, but not necessarily equally. Something to think about anyway.
