So I have a really solid 1972 Durango Tan Sport Explorer. This model was only available in 1972 and has two trim packages, the Sport AND Explorer. It's a 302, 3 speed, 3" lift with new 235/85/16's (basically 31x9.50's) on alloy wheels, cut front and rear, fresh recovered front seats with original Saddle rear seat. All original panels, with the only rust in the front floor seams and a few pin holes. The floor panels do NOT need to be replaced. Rear bed, tailgate, rockers, posts and strikers, and rear quarter seams are all NICE!
I'm taking to paint shop next week, but I'm offering it on here if someone is interested before I take it. You know that my fun is the thrill of the hunt, not restoring them. Catch and release!! It is one of the most solid Broncos I've had in a while at this price. Needs paint.
Includes new set of flares. It also has a Hickey Sidewinder winch, dual shocks F/R, bumper braces, and an authentic Stroppe Baja rear roll bar.
If it makes it to paint I'm keeping the winch and roll bar.;D Runs and drives great. Been out west since new, and was in the same family for the last 20 years. PM me if interested and I can send pics from my phone. kids took my charger cord, so I cannot download right now!!
