Getting ready to paint my frame. What are some of the set ups you guys have used to set the frame up to paint it. I’m thinking of using some saw horses and some all thread and making something up to hold the frame up so I can paint it. Let’s see some pics.

No pics but you're on the right path, build your stands and have some fun. The MAIN thing is get it CLEAN before you do anything, prep is everything here.1) Urethane or Epoxy prime, 2) coat with your choice of rust preventative,3) final coat with satin or gloss automotive paint, I went with Eastwood Chassis Black, good stuff. Jim ;)

I ran 2x4s into the frame horns and set them on saw horses.

I dropped it off and then picked it up... best move I've made in a while.

Forklift works great, of course not everyone has one handy. Really like the 2x4 idea.

I usually hang the frame from the ceiling using 4 straps. can lower and raise as needed then.

When I painted mine I used 2 X 4's in the frame rails on saw horses. I would paint top and sides and let dry. Later I would flip it and paint again. I did this about 3-4 times. I painted it with a brush. David
