I joined this forum today having just had my 73 U15 delivered to me in FL from Arkansas after an 18 month frame off restoration and I'm sick.
I hope somebody here can help because the VIN on the vehicle doesn't match the Cert of Title from Arkansas. We have yet to find the VIN on the frame but the VIN on the metal plate in the glove box matches the laminate paper one on the driver's door jam. That VIN is U15GLQ..... and the VIN on the Title is U15GLA..... and Arkansas says that's the number on record as far back as 1975. They said there was never a VIN with Q in it but that's whats on the Bronco in 2 forms.
I got a FL temp tag and have less than 30 days to sort this out.
Got any ideas?
