I got a few small items done this weekend. I was able to find another gauge cluster to rob a needle and other parts from. It turned out pretty good, I tested the gauges and they seem good, I hope the speedometer works too. I cleaned up some small parts and painted them. I got the headlight buckets in and the new h4 lights installed. I painted the front grill letters and installed those along with the front marker lights with new gaskets.
I started on the wiring harness again until my brain overloaded, so I will start that back up next week Here are a few pics.

I have not had a chance to touch my Bronco for a while now. I was looking at Craigslist the other day for parts (like usual) and came across this cover for $50 bucks. I wasn't looking for one but at that price I damn sure grabbed it. It is brand new never used and a whole lotta beefy! Can't wait to get to the front end work and install this thing!

Nice find! It can be really satisfying to find good deals but you gotta search often and move fast. I’ve saved well over $1k on parts just by doing that...many of them new in box even. Hope you got a shop heater - I saw some snow there recently. Gitterdun!

We did get some snow finally. Way better than last year and earlier too. I thought all I got was the cover, I looked in the bottom of the box under the paper and found the instructions, bolts and a new gasket. Awesome!
Thanks for the reply!
Have a good one!

Got some Bronco time today. I took the passenger side fender off so I could put the air intake vent in that I forgot a while back, got excited about painted fenders and went a little crazy. Its fixed now but, What an idiot!

I messed with my harness for a little while today. Got the dash almost finished up and installed the defrost duct in the dash. I found out that the bracket for the steering column is not attached to the dash at the front part. I must have cut it when I repaired the trough in the cowl area. Its all raptor lined so I did not want to mess it up trying to weld it back in place so I made a bracket to hold it instead. Here are a couple pics of what I did in case someone else runs into this problem. I used 13 guage stainless plate for the bracket. It uses the pedal bracket bolts and the column bolts to secure it in place so it should be plenty stout.

I got some work done the other day and didn't get time to post up pics. I got the firewall insulation in place and mounted the pedal assembly and the accelerator pedal and linkage. Waiting on the wiring harness to go in before I mount the e-brake. I also got my Bronco emblems blasted and painted the other day. I put them on today.
Baby steps but at least its moving forward!
Here are a couple pics.

I got a little more work done last weekend and today. Time is short these days, stupid work getting in the way. I found a dash brake light and got that installed. I also was able to remove the drum brakes down to the knuckles and get everything cleaned up and painted. Hopefully next weekend I can get my F 150 knuckles and everything mounted up and be done with the front end.
I removed the front cover and was happy to find the gears in great shape. This also allowed me to install my new cover I got a few months ago. I sure like it!
Anyways here are some pics!

Looking great! Almost at the finish line....

Your rig and mine are siblings lol. Mine's the same year, model and color, and was production number N81497. So yours is a lil bit older lol.

enjoying your build, keep it up!

I got some things done the last couple weekends. Not much time to work on the Bronco but I squeezed it in. Got the dash in, got the heater box finished but not installed yet. I made a cover for the transmission and transfer case and got my version of twin sticks installed. I finished up the upper seatbelt mounts for the front seats, hopefully I can get them in soon.
Here are some pics.
