I finished the rear bumper and painted and mounted it. I am very happy with the bumper. Still need to but a tire but I thought the rim needed some love too. Here are a few pics.

Thank you! I had one of the few vehicles in town painted that color when we shot the paint. Now every other vehicle in town is close to that shade of grey. I thought I was being original, guess I didn't get the memo! Ha!

I installed my q jet carb the other day and between it and my HEI my air cleaner assembly would not fit. Not a big deal, lots of options to go with. I have been looking at hundreds of pics of air cleaners, cold air intakes and short ram air intakes. I decided to make one instead of buy one, mostly because I am a cheap bastard, but I like a challenge as well.
I went to the salvage yard and picked up a scott air pack aluminum tank, a piece of 4 inch aluminum light post and a 5 inch fire hose fitting (had to take it apart to get the piece I needed for the base). I also picked up a 4 inch air intake pipe from a semi truck that has mandrel bends in it.
A little lathe work and some Tig time and this is what I have so far, I am pretty happy with it so far. We will see how the rest falls in place.

Got a few hours to play with this air intake. It went a lot easier than I thought it would. I may need to change out my valve cover for an older one (if they fit) I have a 1989 5.0 roller motor. The oil fill on the valve cover is up against the air tube, I don't want to have to take it loose to add oil. Not sure what I am going to do yet.
Here are a few pics, I still need another rubber coupling and the cone filter so I can figure out where to cut the end of the tube.

I am not sure, I can give it a try, It will put the fill in the passenger rear corner. I also have the original valve covers that came on the Bronco, just not sure they will fit the newer style heads. I have a thread out asking that question. This is my first Bronco motor that is a roller block, never messed with one before.

I was able to finish the cold air intake today. It turned out exactly like I wanted it to be. I was also able to get a bracket built to mount my center console, I used the two seat belt holes in the floor and drilled two more for the front. My seat belts are mounted to the cage floor bars and uprights so the holes were not being used.
Here are a few pics.

I got a few hours to get some work done on the Bronco today. I got the floor mats (WildHorses) in, changed out the valve covers and timed and installed the distributor. I got the plugs and wires installed as well. I scored some mirrors a few weeks back and installed those and the cherokee wiper arms as well (forgot to post up pics).
Hopefully next weekend I can fire it up.
Here are a couple pics.
