I got the core support mostly finished today. We started it last weekend. Gorgeous fall weather here. I hear that the aspens up in the high country are starting to turn.

Hank,
Great to hear that! The mountains are changing fast here now. Some started early and now its looking like fall (finally). That's my favorite time of year out here. Sure is beautiful!

I got my frame done today and installed all the new bushings, bump stops, and front shocks. I don't have the lower mounts on my rear axle yet for the rear shocks. Here's a few pic's , nothing fancy but a big check on my list of stuff to get done!

I got a little work done today. I painted and mounted my 4x4x2 box and the cross member for the transfer case. I installed new stainless door hinge plates in the passenger side hinge post. I made new pieces to hold them in the pockets and made a new cover plate and welded it in.
I was feeling pretty good about the day and then I was inspecting the tub and found another pocket of rust in the passenger side rear wheel well.
Man I love rust! I got it cut out and decided it was beer/30 so I will hit it another time.
Here's a few pics, nothing amazing, just progress.
Ignore the last pic.

Got a few things done. Mocked up motor , tranny and trans mounted. 4x4x2 box mounted, front shocks mounted. Repaired the rust in the passenger side wheel well. Baby steps but at least going the right direction.

I appreciate the reply. It started out guns a blazin and now my wallet and big ticket items are slowing me down. I hope to be done by summertime!
Have a good one!

I have had little progress on this project lately , holidays and other stuff getting in the way. I got my rocker mounted nerf bars mounted today. I made them last week but was undecided on how far out to stick them from my square tube rockers.
Thanks to xcntrk for the advice and the pic of his rig I made my mind up. Here is a couple of pics.

I finally got the body ready to prime and undercoat so I could put it on the frame. My buddy and I were going to get it done this weekend, but his dad left a car parked in the paint booth and took the keys with him. I guess one more week won't kill me.

On a happier not I found a tilt steering column in a 78 Ford Van today, got it for 20 bucks! Sweet!

I will post up some pics when I get the primer done and back on the frame next weekend ( I hope).

I finally got it primed and the undercoating sprayed. I used 3M schutz, and am very happy with the results. Hopefully tomorrow I can get the Raptor sprayed on the inside.
Heres some pics, not too interesting but a huge step forward for my project.

Got the Raptor sprayed inside today. I covered all of the interior, under the dash, and interior panels up to the rails. Looks great and easy to do , I am a big fan of this product now. Its the first time I have used it and I am sold on it.
Heres a couple pics, not very good all I had was my phone.

I finally got the body back on the frame today. All went well except the 4x4x2 box didn't want to fit with the front support. I didn't remember seeing anything in the posts I looked at about it not fitting without modification. I gently persuaded the front support with a bfh and a bar, all is well now. Hopefully the grill fits without problems after the persuading. The shop was full of crap so I couldn't get any pics. Hopefully this weekend I can move enough stuff around to get some. Sure is nice to have it in one piece. Its been forever since the frame and body were one.

As usual work and funds are cutting into my Bronco time. Here is a few pics of some small repairs I made the other day. I filled in the rear corner bed stake pockets and modified my front core support so the 4x4x2 box would fit better.

I finally got some work done, not much but still progress. I got some doors from another member, I got them mounted so I can do some body work. I also purchased a new tailgate from Wild Horses because I am tired of fixing rust. That tailgate is perfect, glad I picked one up. Here are a few pics, nothing exciting but I am happy to be moving forward.
