My windshield frame had some rust in it too, nothing bad but more than I want to mess with right now. I got another one from a member that is in better shape. I got the frame removed and the hinge removed from my new (to me) frame. I am going to install a stainless hinge and bolt it top and bottom to make it easier to mess with the next time. Here are a couple pics of the work so far.

I got my new used windshield frame mounted today. I got a stainless steel hinge and some socket head stainless 1/4 - 20 screws and atttached both sides. Thanks to Stupidboy and his build thread I got this done, thanks for posting up those pics on your build! I got screws that were a little too long so it is only held on by a few screws for now. I am going to prime and paint everything except the hinge before final assembly. I still need to sandblast my doors and the windshield frame so no hurry on that.
Here are a few pics, nothing great but, making some progress!

I finally got to work on my Bronco again today. I got the windshield frame, grill, tailgate, dash and headers sand blasted. I tried to blast the doors but that orange paint must be an industrial paint. The blaster would hardly touch it. My buddy had some aircraft stripper and that did the trick. I will get them blasted next weekend.
I got the headers painted with high heat paint as well. My buddy was pulling the few dents that I have and filling in the low spots with body filler. I didn't snap any pics but I wanted to update my thread anyways.

Thank you! I am really close. The motor in my 79 F-150 went out last week and put the skids on my project. Hopefully I will have it torn down today to see what happened to it. Then back to the Bronco. I hope to be done before the end of summer. After the paint is shot it should move fast.

Thanks for posting, always a pleasure to chat with someone!

I got to do a little work today. I got both front fenders mounted and cut them out for flares. One was already cut but not enough, the other was still factory. Nothing spectacular but still some progress. My Buddy has most of the body work on the rear quarters done as well. Here are a few pic's.

I stripped down the rear axle a couple weeks ago. I was able to the old perches and shock mounts cut off and installed new anti wrap perches. I also installed the bracket for my wrap trap. I painted most of it, I need to reinstall the housing and get the shock mounts figured out and welded on. Hopefully tomorrow or Monday I can get that done. I hope to have the center section cleaned up an reinstalled along with new bearings on the shafts and get it back together and on the wheels again.
Here are a couple pics, nothing too exciting, still some progress though.

I finally finished installing the rear end. I got the housing finished and the third member repaired and installed. I got the lower shock mounts for the shock jock welded in and the wrap trap cross member welded in and the bar installed.
This took me longer than I expected so I am very happy to be done with it.
Here are a couple pics.

I bought a set of rims for my Bronco over a year ago. I caught a good sale on tires on black friday so I finally got a set of tires mounted up and put on my Bronco. 15x10 inch rims in flat black with Mickey Thompson ATZp3's in 33x12.50x15. I think they look awesome, I can't wait to get this thing on the road and check them out. Hopefully they don't rot before I get done!

I also drug my cage out of the corner and dusted it off. I put the seats in so I can get an idea where to mount the seat belts. I hope to get to that next weekend. I didn't have pics of my cage out of the Bronco so here are a couple pics for later reference.

I finally got my Marti report so I thought I would post it here so I have a copy I can find easily. It was pretty close to what I expected.

Been doing a little work on the Bronco here and there. Life is always getting in the way. I got my dash cleaned up and welded up the extra holes I don't need. I got the grill trim holes welded up and cut the bottom corners off. I got the passenger front fender flare installed, the drivers side is getting some work done to it before I can install that side. I got the poly hood pin mounts drilled along with the holes in the scoop. There are a few places getting fixed on the glass hood. I am waiting for my Buddy the body man to finish things up and then we can fit everything one last time and hopefully get some paint on this thing.
Here are some pic's, nothing exciting but still progress!
