I have what I thought was a 67 bronco, looking at the dso#, now I’m not sure. It has the Ford tax on the drivers side kick panel (thought they were all on the glove box door as all 5 of my previous ones were). Learned something new from a buddy here, Mattyq17 showed me the earlier tags are on the kick panel. The dso is 6 digits, not two like I find while searching. It is a military bronco and has the data plate on the tub inside driver door below driver seat. Says delivered June 1967. Vin #s match, have NOT checked the frame yet.
I am in the midst of getting a Marti report and it asks the year, and I am not quite sure...can you guys help???:?

If that says u13FLB44... then yes a 67'. If its u13FL844 then it's a 66'. I'm having a hard time making out the character after the L on my phone. On the DSO, 83 stands for Govt use, the rest of the numbers indicate the special order number.

It looks like a '67 U15 military. There's several military gurus on the forum and they will 'educate' you...;)

Militaries are cool finds. Best part is that the dash plaque is sti in place and not missing like some are.

Figures, I would have one of the wired ones. Anyone else seen the data tag in that location? I believe it was a navy bronco.

I am not sure why I say that about the Navy, I remember reading that somewhere on the bronco, perhaps in that other tag on the door post. Will get a pic of that soon.

That's interesting stuff. Says to me that either '67 was a model year they changed early (August is more common, but not etched in stone) or the military got theirs first and early.

The location of the data tag is interesting too, but may also be a general military thing, or perhaps just branch by branch. If there are other members here with Gov't Broncos, maybe they will share their locations and dates here in this thread too.
