<Not sure understand the other comment about otherwise stock LUBR. Mine's not stock, but it is a LUBR and the steps works great if that helps.>

That means it is stock, with a second gas filler cap that isn't going away any time soon. Otherwise, just lifted.

Anyone have pictures of the Nicks bracket installed? I bought a set. I have the body off and want to install them as part of the build up so it looks like they belong there rather than added on.

I'm not sure if this picture can help you or not. Here's a link as well.

Thanks all. Spoke with Nick.. He explained that it gets pretty obvious when you get them under there. I will test fit tomorrow.

You can install the steps without Nicks bracket, I did on mine ( he did not have the bracket at that time) and they work but you will see movement in the rocker. I'm going to be installing his brackets on it sometime in the near future. As far as the steps, you must be careful as to what year Super Duty you order for as Ford would alternate every other year to ground present close or ground present open. For the easiest wiring with aftermarket door switches you want ground present open which is 75104-01A

Thank you! I got them ordered and went ahead and ordered his brackets. Excited to add these to my build. It is a little difficult getting in with 3-1/2" suspension and 1" body lift with 33's on an uncut. Required a little jump to get in on my part and would be impossible for my wife and kids.

Cool, always nice when we can make those little additions (creature comforts) Good luck

I wish I would have built my own brackets. They would have come out nicer/ better. The rocker doesn't move with people weight though.

Glad too see more of these being installed. Ill keep an eye on the flexing as well. I still don't have my doors finished for my Bronco yet but I think this week I might get them on. So I haven't mounted the activator switch and was wondering if anyone has some good suggestions on the best area. High or low?

I am planning on wiring them into door jamb switches (from an '88 FS Bronco). I hope this works, but until I have them and get it all laid out, I dunno.

I have mine here, basically top right of the 2nd picture. This runs my dome and door triggers. This also shows the nick brackets installed.

Nice job! I am trying to decide if I want those or the ones that mount outside the rocker. I have to admit those look pretty cool when they drop as the door opens and retracts as you close up.
