google 6g and get to their website and this, I'd buy it:

index.php

It has most elements, 2 dr, raised hood edge, flared fenders ala a cut EB, size looks right, looks to be solid front axle

Yes - proper!
And the raised portions on top of front fender.
Top does not removable - sad.
Looks like a mix of EB and FSB.

Indeed, a proper esc bronco. Agree with the non removable top issue and again question the solid front axel.

I just got the email, and if it's even close. Sign me up. I really like the 4 door.

I like the latest concepts. I'd certainly like to see more queues from the early bronco but I think it is closer to the mass market target. My wife is likely to drive something like that on a daily basis and I'd be happy being her co-pilot on the rubicon.

Intel I got last trip to Detroit was that the roof has three panels similar to some of these renderings. No idea if removable (panels or top).

For kicks I crudely cropped the 6 g concept into a 2 dr.

That 4-door looks like a boxy Exploder. No thanks.
But, the soccer moms will love it.
Ford must decide the audience.

Im with the others on the 2 door issue! It should be 2 doors and have a removable top. Crawlers edge 4 door bronco is badass though. In any case Ford can get the wheelbase pretty close to what is ideal I would think and still keep it a 2 door.

I honestly think that Ford is gonna $h!t the bed with this one. Looking forward to seeing what they come up with but not expecting much honestly! If it doesn't have a removable top or a MASSIVE Sunroof gonna be disappointed!

How about some type of hard top convertible. Could be the first of it's kind in the truck category.

Our eb's "are" a hard top convertible.

The Dodge Shelby truck's were the first soft top convertible trucks offered by the OEM's.
The Chevy SSR(?) truck was the first hard top convertible from the OEM's.

Sorry - I was thinking a power hard top convertible. IE a hard top in three pieces - push a button and it folds into the space behind the back seat.

Insider said it would have 4 doors since there is no market for a 2 door. Ford has lost a buyer for that.

It's a shame they had to quit selling the Mustang because there is no market for 2 doors.

HA! Yeah, nobody buys Corvettes or 2 door Jeeps either. %)

Insiders, sheesh. Too many bean counters and not enough true enthusiasts.
