• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

Got a buddy who's thinking of selling his Bronco. He's not completely sure of letting it go, isn't sure what price he'd want, and is out of town for a month (he's got a cabin in AZ). I said I would post it here because it's a mostly unmolested, uncut, complete 74, but I don't have all the details on it. I did ask him about any rust and he claims just basic surface rust, and that's it. No rust on aprons, floors, rockers, posts etc. But I don't have pictures of those yet. It was a 3 on the tree converted to a C4. I don't know the mileage and he couldn't recall. He's looking for some idea of what it might be worth to make up his mind. What I have here is what I have on it and won't have anymore until he's back. Sorry! I gave him my opinion on price, but frankly one in this shape (mostly original, but no rust) is kind of all over the place. So other opinions would be appreciated. From him:

Yes put the info on mine out to anyone you think might be interested. 74, 302, C4, column shifter, power steering, power brakes disk/drum, ran when parked but hasn't been started in years, solid with faded paint and a bit of surface rust, uncut, unlifted, holly carb, edelbrock intake, unilite conversion, root beer Brown with white top, BCBronco's rock skis. Swing away spare mount.

Those homemade rocker covers hiding something?

I asked, he said no. He said he put them on for "wheeling" but I suggested he'd need to supply pictures of the aprons, floors, posts, and rockers. He can't until he gets back. And they're not "home made", they're BC Bronco's rock skis.

Around here.

Edit: the locals here think an EB in any condition is a gold mind so what they ask could be $15,000 - 20,000

I'd say 20,000 all day if he can start it and it is as solid as he says. Could go for more. I have seen some pretty rough broncos purchased for big money on Ebay.

Looks like a 20k bronco here.

if it's a runner/driver could definitely fetch that these days...

don't hurt to start high w/the asking price

Right front fender the worst of the damage?

Hard to put a number on it without pics of undercarriage, more interior and a clean engine bay but $20K!?!?

FINALLY he's back and has sent some additional pictures. A few people already reached out to me when it was first listed so I sent them his number this morning. I'll post his number here tomorrow. He's kind of a private guy so I'm just trying to help him out. Pass floor looks like it's not quite as nice as he thought. I asked for rocker pictures too. He said there wasn't any rust when he put the skis on, and he did it because he got a dent in one wheeling. I don't think he's inclined to take them off just to take a picture. That being said, he's been in the high dessert of CA for a long time - decades, which is why it's pretty much rust free. That's all I can tell you about them. Also a Clean CA title.

Steve is the owner. He won't answer numbers he doesn't recognize so please text him to have him call you back if interested. For now, I'm out being the middle man and appreciate the community patience with this. Just trying to help out!
