Great work Ben, looks like you will have a beautiful Explorer before long. It's cool that you have the code "S" (midnight blue met) explorer. As you probably already know, most of '74-'76 Explorers were the Brook Blue Poly if they were the blue model so yours seems special. Keep us posted on your progress!

If you look you'll probably find what's missing running down the inner fender.
I have one that looks like that. Been working for years.

The midnight blue was indeed uncommon. But the 76s were Blue Metallic, slightly brighter than Brook Blue. That's what mine is. I have seen a '74 in Grabber blue as well and I believe Scoop has one that was a brighter blue.

Man time flies!!! Got the tranny back, putting the t-case back together and yesterday got to hear my engine run!!! I'll pick it up Monday. budget build, .30 over, mild RV cam, alum intake and a QFT carb. HEI Dist, starts great, runs great, broke in and ready for the stuff I don't have ready!!!!%):eek:%)

OK they're lined up in the basement all I got to do is put them all back
together....well the frame is kinda' lonesome outside!!!

Been busy moving all my junk, but this was a rainy week and I needed a break.....so I put the engine, tranny and t case together and set it on the frame. (All under the watchful eye of bax)

Heck I may finish this rig before I get moved!!!;D;D;D
