Good evening guys, well just like many of you here in the brotherhood, I am selling an EB, my 1973 orange-on-orange Explorer package. I have placed it on Ebay to see what the broader market will yield. I would love to see it go to a CB.com board member so if you are interested jump in but if it doesn't meet my reserve, I will list it here outright with a set price. Please feel free to contact me if you have questions.

Sure, here's some.... 99% stock (new carb) like the rest of the truck and how I wanted to keep it. Here are some of the door posts and striker's too.

I think a few pictures of the engine would be helpful. Very nice Explorer.

Inner and outer rockers are great. I will need to take some this evening of the inner to post. Floors are solid but have some pitting in the rear (crud got trapped under mat) and the two rear panels behind the wheel wells were replaced. The front floors are original but some patching and fiberglass but solid and the original pans are still in but just with repairs (posting the only floor photos I have before carpet was installed and glued in but I can take more from underside tonight).

I'm not sure I understand how this sale works. Your reserve has been met on eBay, but someone can contact you on here if they are interested?

That is an awesome representation of a '73 Explorer pkg. Best of luck with the sale.
My current Bronco is a '73, but per my build sheet it was the Grabber Blue sister of this one.
I loved that '76 Explorer you had several years ago as well.

Side bar question: Does anyone reproduce this interior as a package out in Bronco world for us Explorer folks...?

Thanks Bama! Yes, Bronco Hut has the random stripe fabric for the '73 Explorers.

Thanks again,
Mac

They have each color explorer, even the 72 tan insert. I have their interior in mine, and it looks perfect.

Good question..... I am trying to figure that out. I say that because I've gotten very little communication in the past 44 hrs.

A single bid from a new bidder came in two seconds before the auction ended and they got the truck. My immediate contact information indicated that someone named Todd Clement had won. In doing some basic research, it appears he is the owner of Horsepower Customs in San Juan Capistrano. http://horsepowercustoms.com/about.html

I am unfamiliar with HC, but they seem to be a restoration shop and have several Broncos featured online. According to their site, Clement's won a SEMA award (Master of Metal) for some of his work so it will be interesting to see what will happen to it.

The only conversation I have had with anyone is via email from who am assuming is Clement. All I was asked was if it was ready for a road trip to the Northeast from Atlanta...... I'm not sure what the plan is at this point.

I'll keep y'all posted when I know more.

Wow who got this beautiful rig? And where is it off to?
