Anyone use a tailgate assist / shock?

You would have to swap to a cable support also. I don't believe there's enough clearance for the stock bars.

Besides that, isn't your list long enough already!:p

I have that on my 7.3 SD and I can tell you it works great. If I can use it on my EB I will.

Me too till a heavy wet tailgate slipped out of my hand and caught my finger resting on the trailer jack. Must be a reason all the new trucks have them.

But on an early Bronco?
The tailgate is not very big or heavy.
