35"x12.50"x15"
Mickey Thompson MTZ's (my favorite mud terrain tread)

On Pro-Comp 15"x10" wheels.

3.5" Duff front coils with Duff long arms
2.5" Deaver rear leaf packs

1" Daystar body lift integrated into the poly body bushings.

Generous cut for flares.
Absolutely no rubbing.

I like the stability provided by the wider wheel (10" vs 8").
And yes its a little low in the back. I used to have a 2.5" suspension lift. I will eventually get 3.5" Duff leaf packs.

Are you running bump stops? When I added long arms to my 3 1/2" lift and 33s they told my I would eat the fenders without a 2"b/l so I added one. I haven't flexed it since going to 35s.

I don't have a bump stop on the passenger side because of the Trac bar riser, but I have a tall Duff poly one on the drivers side.
I have a pretty darn generous cut for my flares.
The reason you have been told that is because the inner fender can only accommodate a 33" tire. Careful trimming can help immensely. I still have some inner fender trimming to do on the rear too.

3.5 suspension, no body lift with Duff's long arms and double shocks all four corners-
12.5x35x15's, X Terrains on Mickey Thompson classic II's, 430 gear, C4, warm 306 with goodies.

3 1/2 suspension lift, 2 inch body lift. Tires are BajaClaws, 35x15.5x15 on 10" rims. Kinda wish I had bought 12" rims but it wouldn't fit on the trailer...

As you can see we all do not deal with opinions, just facts. That's right. For example, it is obvious that 33s with 2.5 inch lift is all you need. And that is a fact!%)

AK-47 - Same situation for me. MT3s in chrome? I like those wheels but thinking black. Not sure about the satin color though. Thinking something more flat. Not sure with the black fender flares, which are slightly faded. Thoughts?

5.5" lift on my full width Bronco running 35x13.50/15 tires which I hate. I'll be switching soon to 35x12.50/18 tires, going from a 15x10 wheel to an 18x9 with much less offset (-46mm to -12mm). This should significantly improve bump steer and tuck the tires in a little while still maintaining brake disc and trac bar clearance.

I was going with 35s on mine with a 5.5" lift with 12.50-15-35 swampers
The extra lift was for the big knobbys that the swampers have. But I then put the 1" integrated body lift bushings on so that my hood would clear my distrib and when I put the origional 35s on it to move it around I saw they were way too small so I went with 37s. So yea the 35s might be what you are looking for but it depends on your preference.
I will post a link to my build pics in a sec on here

My dads bronco has 35" tires with 4.5" suspension lift. Looks great. The trend these days in off roading in general is to limit the up travel and focus on down so that allows a bigger tire. I had 33 then 35s and 37s on my bronco and what I've noticed is the bigger the tire the less travel you need. I guess because the holes get smaller in a sense.

Also, I've noticed that a 10' wide rim makes a standard 12.5 tire look bubbly in my opinion. I always preffered an 8 or 9" wide rim. Also in my opinion I think a 35" tire on a 15" diameter wheel looks better than a 17" but I truly believe that your chances of having a better balanced tire over the life of the tire goes up a lot when the sidewall is shorter so a 17" diameter rim could help with that.

OPCJeff you bring up an interesting point. The rim width effect the look of the tire I.e bubbly. If I'm going for that "square tire" look, would a narrower rim on a 35x12.5x17 wheel make it look more square (from the back). I originally thought a wider rim would cause the wall to be straighter and less"bubbly"...am I wrong?

Thanks,

AK-

The post by OPCJeff reminded me of another recent trend in off-roading.

Instead of using a lift kit they get out the sawzall and get their tire clearance that way with a lower COG.

Attac the 35's are on 15" rims? BFG A/T's? also what width. Car looks great btw

Yes 9x15 rims. Real old wranglers. Had great tread but way out of time spec from the dot date stamp on the side so I was buying new ones.
