Hello guys,

I need help I have a hard top but i need to restore it. In the process of restoring I want to put a sliding rag top in the roof. I have had hard tops and soft tops. I just hate having to unbolt everything and reattach it every year. I always loved the look of the hard top the best but want the open air. What are your thoughts? Has anyone on here ever done it?

The Dark blue bronco is the one I just finished restoring and the light blue is the one from a company that makes kits for the hard top

Check below for updated pictures I ended up doing it

Ragtop would be cheaper than a BC, but I really like the BC and the color choices. you can also get color choices on the ragtop.

That looks very cool and definitely a finished look. I'd love to know how much that would cost to do.

My top is in average condition at best, I considered removing the side windows and rear hatch and trying it that way for a while but thought it might look a little redneck as a daily driver.

If only bronco design could do that in their new fiberglass?

That does look sharp
I don't have a hard top, but if I did and lived up north I definitely would consider that.
