Probably so cause it was built 7-16-76 and have seen a '77 that it's actual build date was very late July '76.

Hey. That was my 9th birthday. I also have a ‘76 copper looks like it was built in April. But I haven’t ordered a marti yet. I plan to

It would be nice if we could all contribute to fixing the errors on that page. I tried many years ago and was ignored.

Sure enough, cancel the screenshot idea!! :) I'm not sure where that falls if you're not claiming as your own or selling it though.

Personal use?
You are probably okay (even if you did get caught).

Publishing it or posting it on the net?
That could get expensive.

Over the years I have read that there are many errors on their site.

Since this is the largest EB forum maybe we need to have the most knowledgeable on here make a more correct set of tables in the FAQ section.

I've contacted them as well with no reply.

There's a bunch of errors. I'd be all for making a VIN section of the forum here. Everything is out there already and just needs to be compiled like the "color code" thread, except for the trim codes and special order codes. Pretty sure between viperwolf1 and myself we have all of the trim codes.

The Corvette enthusiasts have done just that. The NCRS (National Corvette Restorers Society) as a group are a fanatical bunch. Over the years getting together to share knowledge and completely dissect EVERY proper aspect of every model. Books (judging manuals) are written with such detail, in their world, it's practically gospel or the law. ;D

I'm sure there is a public data source if someone was interested in building a new one.
