Anybody here running a setup like that? I'm not going to be able to drop the coin I was planning on the bronco build so I thought 35's under it would look kinda cool with hubcaps on stock wheels. Kinda restomod /retro.

If you got a picture, post it please.

Thanks

I love the look... But I only have this on the spare. They stock width balloons the tire out and causes it to crown- wears the center of the tire out.

Running 30 x 9.5 as well on stock wheels. Haven't sprung for hub caps because I like the look of the white steel wheels just as they are. But also I am uncut and only 2.5" suspension lift and 1" body lift, so I think this tire is a good fit.

Jafo, I know what you mean. It's stuffed full of tire right now!

Here's some more:

Thanks guys. Mountain ram, thats exactly what I was looking for. Have the same hubcaps. Would they work on a wider wheel, say if I widen my steelies? Teal68, what size are the swampers on the white EB?
Thanks again

Just an FYI, a stock hubcap will fit on a wider wheel. I've seen them run on 15x8 wagon wheels.

I think the guy told me they were 38 or 39 inch tires!

I can confirm that hubcaps will fit 15X8 wagon wheels also. That would be cheaper than widening wheels.

Wheel vintiques sells wider reproduction steel wheels. I currently run 33×10.5 on stock steelies and as was said earlier, they balloon out. Bigger issue for me is the BFG KM2's that are mounted on the wheels are not good for road driving. Lots or roll. I am looking into getting a set of 15x8 reproduction steel wheels from wheel vintiques since original wide steel wheels seem hard to find.

Just buy 8" white spoke rims or 7". The stock hubcaps fit just perfectly. Can still get to the lock outs just fine on my 8" rims. check out my garage pic.

Carhauler - Many different 15" wheels will work with the Factory Hubcaps. As you can see, some 7-8" wheels put the Hub Cap Farther out compared to stock. If you can get a wheel with more Backspacing you will not have to reach inside the Hub Cap to turn the Manual Locking Hubs.

The 15x7" Wheel Vintiques with a 4" Backspacing will work great with the Flatter 66 Hub Caps. (Pictured) Later Hub Caps are Deeper. (also pictured)
