I've tossed that idea around (a different configuration though). It ended up being very costly with all the parts required...

here's the rear swing away!!! (finally...)

Gas strut assisted, fully bushed and supported with replaceable pivot shaft (3/4" Grade 8 bolt!!)

These are add-ons to any rear bumper - Normal or Heavy Duty - and include ALL hardware, gas struts, bushings and latches.

SATC - Swing Away Tire Carrier: $392
SAAA - Swing Away Accessory Arm: $248

All come with an assembly booklet that's emailed once payment is made.
If you want one of these when ordering a bumper, PLEASE let me know so a hole can be cut into the bumper wing for the bushings. Otherwise you'll have to drill a 1" hole into your wing (I will provide dimensions).

I also have the new mounting frame horns that pivot to compensate for bent frame rails, sloppy holes or misalignment that makes the bumper look like it's facing slightly downward. $45 for the set (2) and include all hardware. They replace the standard mounting frame horns.

Thinking on offering these without the hardware just to make them more affordable...I know on the swing away tire carrier alone that would reduce the price by just about $100!!!

A list of the recommended hardware would be provided in its' place.

Thoughts on this?

Can you post a pic of the back side? How it mounts into the frame? I will have slid the hangers back on my crawler to extend wheelbase, and want to make sure you bumper will still work. Thanks.

Sure thing. These are the adjustable mounts for the rear. They allow the bumper to pivot in and out in case the frame isn't quite straight or to compensate for enlarged mounting holes.

Not at all. I designed it to use the frame as-is. I didn't want anyone to modify the frame to bolt this on. If they ever go to change it to anything else, a modified frame can be a major issue.
Those "C" channels fit inside the stock frame.

Up for grabs is a set of Heavy Duty winch front and drop down carrier rear. All welded up and painted (rattle can) in dark silver metallic. It could use another coat. They have the script, light holes and the wings bolt on front and rear.

They have the frame mounts welded to them for a 2" body lift.

These were the early prototypes from last year that I sold, but the buyer backed out.

$500 each or $1,000 for the set plus shipping. Pick them up now or at the May If Forward event for free!
